We had a fabulous sold out screening at the Screenland theater in Kansas City. Zack Exley and his wife Elisabeth joined us for the event. Zack and I got to answer questions from the audience for nearly an hour! There were so many honest comments and questions from the more than 150 people who attended. I'm so lucky to have met athiests and gay christians after the screening who felt completely comfortable in the conversation. One athiest woman thanked me for making the film, telling me she felt "disarmed" of the hate she had against all Christians--realizing there's something wonderfully peculiar happening in this movement. As a "recovering Catholic", I totally agree.
