Dan grew up in Downingtown, PA and now resides in the Northern Liberties section of Philadelphia. He is an alumnus of Temple University, where he graduated with a degree in Broadcasting, Telecommunications, and Mass Media with a focus in TV Production. He has been shooting and editing video for eight years now, and has been with Jamie Moffett Media Design and Production of three years. He worked on The Ordinary Radicals as editor and camera op, and has also produced projects for Drexel University, Eastern University, Pennsylvania Environmental Council, Gas and Electric Arts Theatre Company, the Bryn Mawr Film Institute, and non-profit organizations like Yes! And..., The Simple Way, BuildABridge, and PA Mentor.

Dan describes himself as an avid Philadelphia sports fan, and is also a Phillies season ticket holder.
